St Joseph's is a flourishing inner city parish with many parishoners coming from India, Africa and Europe. The parish serves the spiritual needs of catholic community through daily Holy Mass and Sacraments. It also offers opportunities to deepen one's faith, love and knowledge of God and to get involved with the local community, through prayer, study and joining groups within the parish.

Talk English Lessons in Salford
Caritas Talk English project is looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers to help  deliver free ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses and support activities and trips across the Salford area. Three training sessions are coming up at the Cathedral Centre.

Caritas Vacancy - Payroll and Finance Officer
Role description
The Payroll & Finance Officer will ensure staff are paid accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for filing all monthly and year end documents for payroll and pension. You will also process transactions relating to the purchase and sales ledger and make foster care payments. Additionally you will also be responsible for producing sales invoices and credit control.

Person specification
The successful candidate will be well organised, proactive in their approach to work, with outstanding communication and problem solving skills.
The post holder must be at least part qualified in a professional financial qualification and must have a minimum of two years experience in the same or similar role.

37 hours per week, full time . £21,268 - £24,964 per annum
